Sarah Newton
Salem should remain in the 9th Congressional District.
Elizabeth Sykes
The Eastern Shore and areas along the water do not even have the same type of lifestyle nor do they solve the same type of problems as people who live in the city. Expanding District 2 this much is nuts. Also, these maps need to make sure they are not discriminating against those who are pro cures. Many people who are said to be "anti vax" are actually Pro Cures, such as releasing Dr Rife's machines.

Please do not split Bedford County. Keep the county in the 5th district.
Lloyd and Ella Pusey
Please keep all of Bedford County in the 5th District.
Charla Bansley
Please do not split Bedford County. The goal of redistricting is to ensure community's have meaningful representation. One way you accomplish this is to keep a district within county borders. Please reconsider! Keep Bedford whole!
Janet Robey
Dislike that Bedford County is split. Put all of Bedford together in the 5th, leave Craig county in the 9th, 6th should include Albemarle.
Sandy Adams
Why can't you put Craig County back in the 9th and move the southern part of Albemarle and Charlottesville into the 6th. Please put all of Bedford in the 5th!
Melvin L Adams
I'd like to see all of Bedford County remain in the 5th. To balance the already uneven numbers in the 5th, 9th and 6th, put Salem and perhaps Craig County back in the 9th and move the southern part of Albemarle and Charlottesville into the 6th.
John E Garrison
Salem should remain in the 9th district. The interests of Salem are more in line with the rest of SW Virginia, not the Shenandoah Valley.
Elizabeth A Bowles
Salem should remain in the 9th district.
Krista Boettcher
Salem should remain in the 9th District!
Faye S Curren
City of Salem should remain in the 9th Congressional District. It makes no sense to put Salem residents in a district with areas further North where we have very little if anything in common. Thank You.
Robert Andrews
The City of Salem should be in the 9th Congressional District. Salem has much more in common culturally and economically with surrounding localities in South West Virginia than it does with localities further north in the Shenandoah Valley. It makes more sense for Salem to be in the same Congressional District as Bristol or Abingdon rather than Winchester or Front Royal.

HELL NO! Culpeper simply becomes "flyover country" under this map. We will be completely ignored by our Democrat incumbent as they have every incentive to pay attention to just Charlottesville and Loudoun. This map is worse than the current one that places us in the Richmond-oriented 7th District. Every county between Albemarle and Loudoun will be completely devoid of any representation.
Herbert Nelson Loveless
I now live in Chesterfield Co. I lived in Short Pump previously. Both areas are suburbs of Richmond and have many of the same problems. Both should be together in same district.
